Document This Movement documents dance events and news affecting the San Francisco Bay Area dance community. Our content includes performance reflections, interviews with dance artists, essays and news about local dance. Our aim is: to provide a platform for thoughtful documentation of dance during rapidly changing times; to inspire more dialogue with a diversity of dance artists at various stages in their career; and to encourage more people to write about dance. Document This Movement bears witness to what dance artists create in response to and in spite of threats to public funding, freedom of expression, and the scapegoating of marginalized populations.​
